OTCH JUMPSTART MOOSE ON THE LOOSE T.T. CGC. FDCH. SADC.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN.....

Moose came to me via JUMPSTART KENNELS.  I fell in love with her the moment I met her. She had an inquisitive expression on her face and eyes that danced when you acknowledged her!
I planned on trialling Moose in obedience hoping she would excel at the dog sport.  WELL.....EXCEL.....she DID!
The year she came to live with us was summer of '92.  Moose was two years old.  I started training her that fall and in the spring of '93 Moose and I earned our first obedience title-CD(COMPANION DOG).
We continued our training together and in the fall of that same year we earned our 2nd obedience title-CDX(COMPANION DOG EXCELLENCE).
I decided to give ourselves a break and just trial with no extra training......we aced several HIGH SCORES IN CLASS and many a HIGH IN TRIAL in the Open B class.
During our break in obedience Moose and I tried our hand at Flyball.  And ball-crazy she was......she just wouldn't quit.  Loved those tennis balls!  Only dog I knew that would scent her own tennis balls.  Balls that I alone would touch before a relay!
We joined the Flyball team of K9's and Kompany out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.  Though the team was made up of mostly Border Collies.....Moose added a flair for the unexpected!  She was fast and fluid.  And when focused she consistenly did her level best to help the team!
She earned her FDCH(FLYBALL DOG CHAMPION)title in '96.
Agility was another dog sport Moose exelled at.  Though we didn't trial until '97 and then earning our SADC(SPECIAL AGILITY DOG OF CANADA) certificate through AAC(Agility Association of Canada).  We had fun doing demos and Hoof and Woof's(Horse and Dog Relay) for five years prior to trialling.
In the beginning of '94 we got serious again and started training for our UTILITY title.  We had lots of fun and some frustration but in all we aced the whole process!  In '96 we started to trial for our OTCH(OBEDIENCE TRIAL CHAMPION) title.  That summer.....after 10 trials we aced the title earning our OTCH.
Moose become TOP OBEDIENCE AMSTAFF for '93,'94,'95 and '98 deemed by the CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB.
We entered trials in both the Open B and the Utility class and had a blast win or lose!
We added a T.T.(TEMPERMENT TEST) title.....a CGC(CANINE GOOD CITIZEN) title........and when possible Moose excelled as a THERAPY DOG  extrodinare visiting the seniors at the Senior Home.
She had been an awesome companion and a great team worker.  I have been truly blessed to have had such a wonderful friend in my life!
